The most famous adventure activities in Poland

Poland is getting more and more famous every year. Its medieval towns, rich history, low prices, amazing food and alcohol and also the affordable accommodations are attracting many tourists to Poland. Other than this, Wieliczka Salt Mine and Auschwitz Concentration camp are known in the world. There are many other adventure activities in Poland that can attract many tourists.

However, there are some magnificent places which are not well known – like the trails in the pristine Tatra Mountains. Expect from the famous Morskie Oko Lake trail (which is the least attractive), the other trails very easily attract foreigners. They are just like paradise – filled with crystal clear lakes and surrounded by snowy peaks of the rocky Tatra Mountains.

Best trails in the Polish Tatra Mountains

It is very obvious that hiking in Polish Tatras is getting more and more famous day by day. During the summer time, hundreds of tourists flock to the town of Zakopane in order to spend some time admiring the spectacular peaks and turquoise mountainous lakes.

Trail to RYSY – the highest peak in Poland

Although Rysy is the highest peak in Poland, it’s not that difficult to climb it to the top. This hiking is quite tiring and steep; nevertheless its nowhere near as difficult as some other trails in the Tatras – like, for example, the trail to Zawrat via Dolina Gasienicowa which is my favorite in the whole Tatras.

Many tourists coming to southern Poland and Krakow region end up in Zakopane – the little town located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. Zakopane – must visit the Winter Capital

Zakopane which is also known as the winter capital of Poland due to the abundance of ski resorts in the region is becoming a popular tourist destination among many tourists these days. Probably the reason behind this is because it’s so close to the most famous attraction in Poland – the medieval city of Krakow.

Dolina Pieciu Stawow

This route to the most famous tourist attraction in the Tatra Mountains region – Morskie Oko Lake may be the most famous and the easiest, but the most spectacular views and real alpine, mountainous scenery are available to those who decide to hike the trail to Dolina Pieciu Stawow and onwards.
