Welcome to the Guide of Dubai Fishing competition 2021. This is the 4^th year running for fishing competition, when it started it was to raise money towards the purchase 6 O’Pen bic boats, this is where the name open Fishing competition came from. Over the years the club has continued to run this competition for general fundraising needs the club has to keep our membership fees low, in doing so we have kept it as an open competition where anyone and everyone is welcome to enter, you don’t even need a boat, fishing from shore is also allowed.

This festival will hook you in from the get-go, competitors battle it out in the biggest haul and take home the first-place prize. Organized by the Dubai International Marine Club or DIMC, this tournament arrives as part of a months-long calendar that highlights traditional water sports to celebrate local heritage.

• You should take care that fishing is restricted between Abel Head and Farewell Spit, Inside the Bay.
• You should must pay the entry fees before the Due date, all crew must be registered to be on board.
• You need to take care that multi entry is not permitted for the same fish by either the same or multiple persons.
• If you are using commercial boats they should have proof of deregistration.
• If you are included in the prize-winners, you must attend the prize-giving to receive the prize.
